The Walled Garden

in Wiltshire

INKSPACE have recently been working towards the submission of a full planning application for this new-build private home, set within an historic walled garden, just outside of Salisbury.

It is believed that the site was previously the kitchen garden to the neighbouring, large historic home to the East of the site. The garden has in more recent years, been built upon with a small bungalow in the northern corner. That building has now fallen in to disrepair and is due to be demolished to allow for a new contemporary family home.

The proposed new 400sqm house is located near the western boundary, with both the living and bedroom accommodation having access, via large expanses of glazing, on to the large, walled garden. The master suite is located separately on the first floor and enjoys its own private terrace.

This unusual project is currently in for planning and is due for determination in the coming weeks. Once at the construction stage, the project will fulfil a life-long dream of our clients, to build their forever home.

If you have a project in mind we’d be very happy to help you bring it to life
